About Us

Protecting Farmland & Open Space

The Bedminster Regional Land Conservancy was incorporated in 1997 with a specific and clear mission of protecting and preserving farmland and open spaces in upper Bucks County.

  • We are a regional, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, organization led by a dedicated volunteer board assisted by professional staffing.
  • We are nationally accredited by the Land Trust Alliance.
  • We are currently protecting over 4,300 acres on 100 properties in five area townships.
  • We are forward-looking, working to preserve our agricultural heritage and rural lifestyle for future generations as well as for our current enjoyment and benefit.
  • We work with area townships in support of their open space programs, as well as individual landowners, to acquire conservation easements.
  • We document annual monitoring visits for each preserved property to ensure compliance with easement owner wishes to protect the land they so love.
  • We educate landowners on the economic and environmental value of conservation easements and encourage and assist them to protect their properties.
  • We sponsor several community events each year including a Garden Tour, Traditional Artisan Show, and Barns and Farms Tour and co-sponsor the Vargo Car Show.
