Fifth Annual Barns and Farms Tour  October 18, 2009

SAVE THE DATE!!!  Barn Tour, Sunday October 18th, 2009, 11 am - 4 pm "Rain or Shine"

Tickets $15 in advance: on sale now at Dublin Agway, Dublin, Earthkeepers at Rogers Roadstand, Perkasie and Doylestown Bookstore, Doylestown. $20 if purchased on October 18th. Come and explore the past as you tour historically significant barns and farms, including 2 spectacular stone barns, with rare architectural features. Walk through working barns that serve multiple uses and visit properties that give a glimpse of a past era. This family and friends event, complete with horseback riding and demonstrations on sheepherding, wood carving, and much more, will provide many different opportunities to experience the beauty and joy of the countryside and help support the Bedminster Regional Land Conservancy in their important mission.

Light refreshments & tickets for sale and “comfort station” at 710 Telegraph Road, Perkasie (Hilltown)

 

The following events are scheduled twice for your convenience, allowing time to get from one to the other. They can be interspersed with visits to the other 4 farms:

  • 11:15 am Sheepherding demonstration

  • 12:15 pm Horseback riding demonstration

  • 2:00 pm Sheepherding demonstration

  • 3:00 pm Horseback riding demonstration
